Welcome to the St Andrews School website.

Founded in 1896 St Andrew’s is a small Independent School with a co-educational Nursery and Junior School and a girls’ Senior School. St Andrew’s provides an education for the whole child, combining traditional values with the best of current practice.

St Andrew’s has flourished by providing a nurturing environment in which each child's talents are found and encouraged. Each pupil’s individuality is highly valued, fostered and developed. Pastoral care is outstanding.

Small classes are the key to success for each girl or boy in developing new skills and achieving her or his full potential. Pupils are expected to work hard, but we also know the value of fun and relaxation and pupils have many opportunities to take part in a wide range of extra activities.

St Andrew’s is a small school with high expectations and big ambitions for your child. We look forward to welcoming you to the school very soon.

In line with Charity Commission requirements we offer bursaries and scholarships at both St Andrews and Rushmoor. New applications are welcome at both schools for the next academic year. Bursaries are means-tested, whilst scholarships are awarded for sports/arts/academic.

LATEST NEWS
It has been another pleasing year for St Andrew’s departing Year 11 students as they were able to achieve a 9-1 pass rate of 100% overall. The majority of students secured at least five grades between 9-4.

The pupils of St Andrew's and Rushmoor schools showed off a wealth of talent at the annual music concert. A huge well done to all the pupils for giving us such entertaining performances.

PTFA

PTFA FORTHCOMING EVENTS 2019

Winter Fayre - Saturday 23 November - 11.30am until 2.00pm at Rushmoor School

Further details for each event will be issued nearer the time.

Supporting the school

The PTFA exists as the social and fund-raising arm of the school's activities. We organise different social events throughout the year, trying to involve as many children and parents as possible in events such as fetes, feature evenings, sporting events etc.  In the spring term of 2016 the decision was made to formally merge the St Andrew's and Rushmoor PTFA's into one group who have responsibility for organising joint and separate events for the schools partnership.

We are a group of volunteers looking to be innovative and find new ways to support the children at both schools.

Please contact the school office staff if you are interested in joining the committee or would like to help in one of our events. Your support would be very welcome.

Gina Ciuro
Chairman, PTFA
